Based on the recommendations of the faculty from the academic departments of Tecnológico de Monterrey, up to 16 units of credit can be awarded in a specific discipline by exams from the higher level of the international baccalaureate, as long as the grade obtained by the student is higher than 5. With a grade of 4, credit can be awarded for an introductory course.
The academic areas have the authority to require a higher grade in their discipline.
