Will you be providing certificates of participation? |
|
Yes. They will be given out on the last day of the Congress. |

How many hours of training will be accredited to people taking part in the Congress? |
|
Participating in the Congress is equivalent to 24 hours of training. |

Does the cost of the ticket cover food, accommodation and transportation? |
|
- The cost of the ticket for the Congress covers coffee breaks during the event.
- All other costs relating to the event are not included and must be covered by the participant.
- If you are a member of the academic community at the Tecnológico de Monterrey please verify with your corresponding Campus.

Will I have access to Internet on the Campus? |
|
Yes. Participants will have access to the Wi-Fi network where the event is being held. |

How can I register for Innovatón? |
|
- Two weeks prior to the event, a registration link for participants will be published via the Congress’ website.
- Innovatón is limited to 100 participants. When this number has been reached, an announcement will be made via the Congress’ website.

All those people who have presented a full paper. |

Are there any discounts available? |
|
- Tec alumni (EXATEC's), postgraduate, diploma and Continuing Education students at the Tecnológico de Monterrey: $500.00.
- Free for personnel from the Tecnológico de Monterrey and TecMilenio.
- Discounts for groups from the same institution:
- From 3 to 5 participants: 15% discount.
- From 6 to 10 participants: 20% discount.
- More than 10 participants: 25% discount.
- In order to register a group please send an e-mail to ciie@itesm.mx with the following information for each participant:
- Institution.
- Participant’s complete name.
- E-mail address.
- If the participant’s paper has been accepted, please indicate the paper number.
- Once the list of participants has been received, you will be sent a message confirming the registration process and the amount to be paid.
- Group payments must be made in person during the Congress.

- In order to register a group please send an e-mail to ciie@itesm.mx with the following information for each participant:
- Institution.
- Participant’s complete name.
- E-mail address.
- If the participant’s paper has been accepted, please indicate the paper number.
- Once the list of participants has been received, you will be sent a message confirming the registration process and the amount to be paid.
- Group payments must be made in person during the Congress.

When is the deadline for pre-registering proposals? |
|
The deadline for the submission of proposals is October 22, 2014. Under no circumstances will extensions be granted. |

What forms of payment are accepted? |
|
- Credit card: please register a valid credit card number.
- Bank deposit: please deposit using the banks listed here.
- When depositing, please add the participant’s surnames under the reference or concept. Once the deposit has been made, please send a scanned copy of the deposit slip to the following e-mail address: ciie@itesm.mx. Please include the following information:
- Full name.
- E-mail address.
- Participant number.
- If you are a speaker at the event, please indicate your paper number.
- Payment in person during the Congress: this option is only available to foreign participants and groups from the same institution.
- The event is free of charge for members of the academic community of both the Tecnológico de Monterrey and TecMilenio. However, their payment status will remain “pending” until it has been released by the corresponding campus, given that they need to apply for transportation, accommodation and travel costs to Mexico City.

When is the deadline for payment? |
|
The deadline for registration and payments is December 5th or until the limit of 3,000 participants has been reached, whichever occurs first. |

Where do I make the payment? |
|
After registering, you will automatically be directed to the credit card payment system.
|

Can people from outside the Tecnológico de Monterrey request a tax invoice? |
|
Yes. Tax invoices will be provided to participants from outside the Tecnológico de Monterrey. |
|
How do I request my tax invoice? |
|
- Ensure you have the following information:
- Names.
- Taxpayer Identification Number (RFC).
- Address.
- City.
- State.
- Zip code.
- Concept.
- Form of payment.
- Account.
- Amount.
- Currency.
- Date of payment.
- Send this information to ciie@itesm.mx, attaching a bank statement (deposit slip or customer notification from bank if payment was made using a credit card).
- If the payment was made using a credit card, you must request your tax invoice 7 days after payment (the maximum amount of time before your payments appears on the Tecnológico de Monterrey’s bank statements).
- The deadline for requesting your tax invoice is December 17, 2014.

What happens if a lecturer registers and pays for the event and then their paper is accepted? |
|
You shouldn’t pay until your paper has been rejected. In the event that you are notified that your paper has been rejected, you should then proceed to register normally. |

Will the papers published in the proceedings of the Congress have an ISBN? |
|
Yes and they will be published during the first quarter of 2015. |
