Egon Moesby
Associate Professor H. E. Moesby is Director of Studies, School of Basic Studies of Science and Engineering at Aalborg University , Denmark .
He received his B.Sc. in Science of Engineering (DipEng) from Aalborg University Esbjerg in 1981. Subsequently he worked at major Danish consulting engineering companies with structural analysis and design and in research and development departments. In a period he was Technical Manager for international turnkey projects and Head of Department of Soil Mechanics and Foundation. From 1990 Associated Professor at The Engineering College in Esbjerg and in 1993 he was part of a group planning the integration of The Engineering College in Esbjerg as an Institute of Aalborg University. Since 1997 H. E. Moesby has been Director of Studies, School of Basic Studies of Science and Engineering at Aalborg University and is very active in the continuing development of Project Based Learning.
H. E. Moesby has been supervising other higher education institutions in implementing Problem Based Learning. Further he has been giving courses for teachers and staff members at other institutions when transforming from traditional education to Problem Based Learning in Denmark and internationally.
Under The Danish Engineering Society, H. E. Moesby is Vice Director of The Society of Technical Educational Questions.
