General objective of the course: Analysis and study of industrial design as a career, from its birth during the Industrial Revolution to the present. Analysis of formal results and the historical context of different styles of industrial design. Study of sociocultural, economic, technological, and scientific factors which affect humankind, such as the projection of the natural and artificial transformation of the atmosphere. Study of mechanization and massification.
